What does treatment involve?
Injury treatment involves a large use of soft tissue techniques. Massage is used in conjunction with other techniques including Muscle Energy Techniques, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Techniques and Soft Tissue Release.
Soft tissue techniques (for example massage) are one of the most effective methods of releasing muscle tension and restoring balance in the musculoskeletal system and plays an important roll in the prevention of injuries because it helps to create a balanced flexible and efficient body that recovers quickly after training and injury.
